Qualification Update for 2008 Sundowner World Championship

The CMSA board of directors has been asked the question, “what if I move-up in class just prior to the World and do not have the points to compete”? Qualification will be set as of October 15th, each contestant’s point total as of this date will establish your required number of points to qualify for the 2008 Sundowner World Championship. If you are qualified as of this date, regardless of class change after this date you will remain qualified. For example: if you are a L2 with 320 points and two wins you would be qualified even if you move-up to a L3 the weekend prior to the World.

Contestants WILL compete in their respective classes at the World, this date ONLY addresses qualification and the potential of move-up wins affecting this qualification.

As of the 15th of October qualification shall be as follows:

All Class 1’s will be required to have earned 200 points

All Class 2’s will be required to have earned 300 points

All Class 3’s will be required to have earned 400 points

All Class 4’s will be required to have earned 500 points

All Class 5’s will be required to have earned 600 points

All Class 6’s will be required to have earned 700 points
