   1. Three classes

      A. Youth 18 and down

  2. Entry

      A. Fee $100.00

      B. Pay back 80% stays in class entered

      C. Top ten in each class performs in Friday Night of the Horse 

      D. Pays two places per class on Friday Night

      E. Runs parallel with the World Championship - top ten in each class determined after last stage in main match on Thursday. (2 stages ran on Thursday)

      F. Each winner receives a Bronze AQHA Statue furnished by the American Quarter Horse Association.   

  3. Qualification for entry

      Horse

      A. Must be a registered American Quarter Horse

      B. Copy of the horse's up to date AQHA papers presented for inspection

      Person

      A. Current Member and in good standings with American Quarter Horse Association

      B. Copy AQHA Membership Card must be furnished

      C. Owner/Riders name must appear on horses papers

      D. Current Family member consider Owner/Rider - father, mother, daughter, or son  example Horse in fathers name - mother,

          Daughter or son can ride.

·         Class Winners will be determined based upon Stages 1-5.  $1000 Added Money per Class, Buckles and class awards will be presented Sunday after World Finals at Awards ceremony.

·         7:00 PM Flag Presentation All state & club flags welcome. No horses participate without flags.

·         2008 Colt World Point Finals Eliminator:  Final Round. Top 10 Men & Top 10 Women followed by awards in arena.

·         Express Division:         Top 10 Men & Top 10 Ladies Classes 3 & 4

·         Master's Division:        Top 10 Men & Top 10 Ladies Classes 5 & 6

o       Contestants who qualify for Stage 6 Divisional Finals are eligible for exclusive divisional prizes based on stage 6 scores only.

o       Overall & Reserve Titles will be determined based upon total aggregate score from stages 1-6.

Awards Ceremony after the Finals.  Dress up and come!  World Class Winners Awards, checks will be mailed out Tuesday, November 25th

  • Presentation of New Ford F-150 to High Point Drawing Winner

    • The Truck is not a lease!  It will be given away with title when you show proof of insurance and pay the sales Tax.

    • The New Ford XLT F - 150, crew cab, 4 x 4, and much more will be present all through the World Event.

*To give all top finishers the opportunity to run for the Overall Championship AND their respective Division Championships the CMSA has created a new Championship format.  Class Winners will be determined based upon the first 5 stages of the World Championship.  The 70 Top Riders (20 from each division and 10 Wranglers) will come back on Sunday to run for the Division Finals & Overall Championship.  This new format will give all classes and levels the opportunity to qualify for a whole new level of titles, prizes and payback.  Prizes and payback are in the works and will be announced once they are finalized. 

Divisions will include ALL numbered competitors in that respective class!  For example:

Limited Division will include the TOP TEN OVERALL in each gender

·         Men's 1 & 2 and Ladies 1 & 2

·         Senior Men's 1 & 2 and Senior Ladies 1 & 2

·         Men's Junior 1 & 2  and Ladies Junior 1 & 2

Top Ten Men and Top Ten Ladies from each of these six classes will make up their respective division.

Overall and Reserve Division Champions will receive Added Money & Prizes.  ALL FINALISTS will receive an exclusive and personalized 'Finalists' jacket and will be eligible for divisional stage prizes based upon stage 6 scores only.  Watch the CMSA website for more updates on prizes!

There are 160 R/V spots & Unlimited Dry Camping

  • All R/V are a first come first serve bases. No Reservations Taken. Full hookup - $20.00 per night -  Partial $15.00

  • No move in before 8:00 AM Tuesday, November 18, 2008 

     

     Amarillo Tri-State Fair Facilities Rules 

    1. No dogs are allowed inside the Amarillo National Center. No dogs are allowed in other buildings unless they are involved in a dog event. 

    2. No R.V. Hookup reservations are accepted, it will be on a first come first served policy. 

    3. Negative 12 months coggins is required at the time of stall rental. 

    4. Valid Drivers License is required for all payments made by check. 

    5. Payment is due at the time of R.V. rental. 

    6. No horses tied to trailers overnight. No horses in portable panels for any reason. Stalls must be rented. 

    7. No parking in designated fire lanes. No parking of trailers on Amarillo National Center south parking lot. 

    8. All trailer parking is west of the Amarillo National Center. 

    9. No skate boards or roller blades, scooters, etc. allowed on the grounds. 

    10. Any person that brings in a golf cart, gator, or 2 wheel scooter, etc. on grounds must provide the Tri-State Fair office with proof of $1,000,000 dollar general liability insurance. At that time a sticker will be placed on your motorized vehicle. If you do not have insurance, the Tri-State Fair can furnish you with insurance at the current rate at that time per vehicle; this does not pertain to regular automobiles. 

    11. All motorized vehicles must be operated by a licensed driver. 

    12. Lessee must take down all signs and banners after their event, Tri-State Fair is not responsible for lost signs or banners or returning them to their owner.
